April 1 - Welcoming April

April by name is the 4 of Diamonds. We are now in the fourth month, which is ruled by the numeric value of 4, and this makes this month a very good time to build. Building new foundations that stand firmly upon higher values is the key to success. Integrity is king!

Today, the 7 of Spades requests that we reflect and contemplate. It's a mystical day that suggests that we take our cues from the things that inspire us to take action.

Obstacles will come only when we act without forethought. If obstacles appear - take a step back, reassess and realign.

March 31 - Restless and Wild

There will be significant change in the energy throughout the day. Interruptions, changes in plans, disrupted travel are just a few examples of what this day can be like.

Shifts in direction can occur as well. The moving energy of this day does have an agenda. The purpose is to get us to open our minds to new ways of thinking, to encourage us to learn flexibility with our attitudes, thinking, and perception, and to choose to establish and maintain clear personal boundaries.

This is a good day to review things rather than put them in motion.  

 

March 30 - 6 of Clubs

The Six of Clubs is the card of mental responsibility. Often on this day, adjustments are called for; adjustments in how we are thinking and communicating, or with our plans and ideas.

Intuition is the guide for the day, and following this intelligence will lead us clearly in the right direction with our words and actions.

The power of thoughtful action when combined with patience and good timing can take us forward in new directions, while also enhancing our self-awareness. It's a day to learn and to teach, to receive and to share. Observe keenly and listen carefully.

March 29 - 7 of Clubs

The 7 of Clubs partners with the Jack of Clubs today in Aries. Mental refinement is the first order of business. It's a day to take stock of our inner world and do some spring cleaning if necessary. Concepts, beliefs, and thought patterns that no longer serve us can be easily released today.

Creative ideas could be important and it will be wise to take them into serious consideration. Changes in perspective, work, or direction will bring you closer to the future. Be open.

Dear Ms. Taylor, you were the Grand Dame of our time. You gifted us with your passion for life, your commitment to excellence in your self-expression, and your vision for humanity. Your brilliant personality was so refreshing and raw with authenticity. I am so grateful for the hours that I had the privilege to share with you on this planet, and for the creative treasures that you graced all of us with through your acting. I remember the first time I saw National Velvet. I felt as though I knew Elizabeth Taylor personally. There was something about her, her presence, and her articulate acting ability, and her welcoming appearance that struck a familiar cord in my heart. As a girl, I wished that I could meet her. That wish came true many decades later, when I least expected it, and probably had forgotten about it, until it actually happened.

I had the great good pleasure to meet the grand dame, and to spend time with her in her home. It was delightful, and when she called me a “smart ass”, I knew in that moment that she liked me, and I was right at home. I was impressed with how she put her intelligence into action when I would share something with her, she would take it to the next level. She was brilliant. That connection that I felt when I was a child watching her on the TV, it was real and right there, and when she called me a “smart ass” because of something I said, I knew in that moment that she liked me and I felt right at home.

My heart filled with delight as we interacted and carried on with what we were doing. I don’t know if I’ve ever met a more authentic individual in my life, before or since. She said exactly what she thought when she was thinking it, I could see in her eyes that her mind was lightning quick, and she had a great sense of humor. Her dedication to her work with AIDS was also more than impressive. It seemed that everything she did was filled with that passion she had for life, and her commitment to what was right before her.

When I heard of her death two days ago, I knew that she had just had her birthday. Knowing that she was born on February 27, and that she had passed on March 23, I couldn’t help but wonder what was going on in her cards. 7 weeks in the hospital means that she was admitted when she was in her 52-day. That can be a very spiritual time, and it most certainly has governance over death. That 52-days is a time for reflection.

Being born on February 27 gave Ms. Taylor a Jack of Clubs – 4 of Diamonds birthday.

I looked at her cards today. When I do this, I do it with great respect for those who have passed, and those who remain. I know what it’s like to lose a loved one, and I have great sensitivity for that. Most of the time I don’t write about these things, I just look at them to see what is there in the cards. Sensationalizing death is a no-no in my book. However, because I have a personal connection with Ms. Taylor, I’m writing as someone who got to meet and know her a bit – enough to embrace her grandness of life and her passion for living.

She had the death card at age 78, in Saturn. Saturn is our teacher, and the death card (9 of Spades) is the card of initiation.

She didn’t die until almost one month after her birthday. The 9 of Spades had now moved to determine and express the way she would leave, rather than the actual happening of dying. What I mean by that is, her death became a spiritual journey in the last few weeks – she went through a deep transformation within before she departed this world, and her outcome card for the final release was the King of Hearts – the safe harbor of love, the master of love and the supreme consciousness of the Heart.

All of this told me that she did all her work here before leaving her body. She understood so clearly her love for all she knew, and how great the love was that the world had for her.

It was certainly not a surprise to see these things in her cards, and it leaves me with tears in my eyes as I finish writing this. Our lives are so precious. Each one is grand and great. Each one of us is touch the world with who we are every moment, every day.

The Jack of Clubs represents mental genius and creativity. This is a great day to exercise those parts of your brain to express your personal brand of genius.

Communication is the golden key, and without it, misunderstandings and stray thoughts can lead to fear. If fear arises, examine it with self-reflection, and then use your communication skills with yourself or someone whoever, for whatever is needed.

The ability to stay focused can be challenged because the incoming mental energy is wild and exciting.

March 23 - The Crown of Financial Intuition

Today this Aries King of Clubs plays the role of the intuitive financial genius, and his blessings are there for us to receive.

Versatility in leadership and intellectual power rule the day. The greater the authenticity, the more empowered everyone will be.

Mastery is in the moment, and things can change direction in a heartbeat; it's best to remain aware.

Wheeling and dealing is the theme of the day. Partnerships are favored. Pay attention to intuition, as it is the wiser one today. Express your needs and your ideas. Communication is King!

Today we have the Super-Moon in all its fullness!
The moon, as most of you probably know, is the closest to the Earth today that it's been in 19 years. This 4 of Diamonds day, with its natural affinity to the Moon through Neptune, is a perfect day for opening our conscious awareness to allow greater perspectives to drop on in.

This is a power-packed day that supports new ideas, communication, the building of new foundations, and great self-awareness. Being in the spotlight is favored, and people are likely going to want to listen to one another today.

It's a great day to get things done - so be productive and have fun!

Tonight is perhaps a good time for a moonlight bath. :)

I had an interesting dream last night, it was about choice. It began with a friend wanting my support in her making a choice that sounded like it might be a bad idea. She had already made up her mind, and begged me to support her. Even though it didn't feel right to me, I did. Something I don't often do. Bad decision. In the dream, it was my life that ended up being turned upside down. I woke up wondering. I don't usually have dreams, and not like this one ever. Then I thought about the cards for the day.

The 5 of Diamonds seeks to know the truth; the deeper aspects and meanings of things. This particular day is often a day when we're asked to make choices, and those requests can come from something that we personally realize in a moment. Sometimes uncertainty or confusion can overcome us in the process. Interesting.

So, my personal recipe for the day is to pay close attention to the thoughts and feelings I am having relative to who I'm with, and what's going on, and with whatever it is I am engaged in. Values and life can change quickly today. Self-awareness and flexibility with attitude is key. 

March 17 - 6 of Diamonds

Word for the day: responsibility. If there is an area of life where you are slacking in your responsibility, this is a great day to bring that into balance. The Six of Diamond's asks us to take action that is in alignment with our greatest values and highest integrity - whatever or however that may be.

Perception is exalted by the Queen of Diamonds, as is intuition. Take care not to judge, and if others don't meet your expectations - perhaps you might want to lower them.

The mental expressions of the cards today will be quick, precise, and discerning. Best to put these characteristics to their best uses. Follow what you know is true for you, avoid compromising yourself, and listen carefully to your intuition.

This can be a very good day for interaction, however in decision making, be sure everything feels right - the gut outweighs logic today.

March 16 - 7 of Diamonds

This is a mystical, magical day, one to most definitely follow intuition before all else.

If financial issues show up, step back and take in the bigger picture. This card teaches us to align our values; spiritual and material, to give us a greater perspective of our life.

It's a good day to clean up the garden of your subconscious mind; clear out beliefs you no longer need, plant new ways of thinking that serve you in better ways, and sharpen your communication skills from the inside out.

March 15 - 8 of Diamonds

This is a day to take stock of what is going on in life, where you are, and what might need to be brought into balance. Careful observation combined with clear thinking is the perfect recipe to right order. 

Charm and diplomacy are the keys to good communication. Worry, especially over money could be an opportunity for new creative ventures. 

For some, indulgence in the comfort of home will be the greatest thing.

Brilliant mental energy blesses this day. Be present, as communication is very important, and something significant could emerge through your conversations today.

Be versatile and wise with your choices, and do your best to keep your finances in check, as money can slip through our fingers today.

This is a day filled with mystical, creative intelligence - have fun with that energy by exploring a new form of personal expression. This can be a great day to network with others.

March 10 - The Crown of Manifestation

Everything is possible today, and things that are initiated will have concrete foundations to build upon, and lasting success. 

It's a day of new beginnings. Step into your personal power. Be flexible. Listen carefully. Follow your intuition.

That which is touched with our presence and self-awareness can be magically transformed. Love is the key that opens all doors.
